Repair Cafe
Saturday, June 21st from 10:30am-1:30pm
Have something in need of fixing? Want to repair instead of spend money replacing? Have nothing in need of refurbishment but enjoy helping others? Join us for a repair cafe! Make use of fellow community members’ expertise in mending, fixing, and restoring. Bring in items ranging from textiles to electronics to small appliances. All are welcome (but please no large furniture).
Community Plant Swap
Thursday, June 26th from 5-6:30pm
Stop by the library any time between 5 and 6:30pm with any plants, clippings, or beginning propagations to swap with other plant lovers! Community members can also exchange tips on gardening or plant care.

Cornerstone History Symposium’s Karri L. Fritz-Klaus will present a symposium of French Paint: Letting Life Be Life to learn about the artwork of a few great artists in history. All lectures begin at 5:30pm in the Story Room at the South Milwaukee Public Library. No registration required.
Paint by Numbers & Sip

Relax and socialize while painting a summer-themed paint-by-numbers canvas at the South Milwaukee Library! No artistic talent is required to create one of these beautiful paintings. The library will supply all required materials. Registration is required. Sign up starting July 2nd online or at the library.

Barreless Barre Beginners

Barreless Barre Beginners is an adult fitness class using chairs, resistance bands, Pilates balls, and weights (optional) to aid in movement that is based in Pilates, yoga, and dance exercises. No registration required.
