Friends of the Library

The Friends of the South Milwaukee Library is an integral organization that supports the library through fundraising and advocacy.

One easy way to support the Friends and our local library is to donate by shopping on after selecting the Friends of the South Milwaukee Library as your charity of choice. Your donations support library programming for our community to enjoy.

Another way to support the Friends and the library is by becoming a member of the Friends of the South Milwaukee Library. As a member, you’ll get special member invitations and discounts at book sales and library events. Plus, your support will go towards your local library’s children’s and adult programs and much more. If you’d like to become a Friend, you can print off a membership form, complete it and return it with your fee to the library.

Thursday, August 5th

MOD Pizza Fundraiser: The next fundraising event is on Thursday, August 5th at MOD Pizza in Oak Creek (160 W Town Square Way Oak Creek, WI) from 10:30 am – 10:00 pm. 15% of sales will be donated to the Friends to help support library programming.

Be sure to use the special code number GR192799F so we get credited for the transactions!

Saturday, November 6th

Book Sale: A book sale is also tentatively scheduled for Saturday, November 6th, 2021, while the Book Nook is open to shop whenever the library is open.
