Friends of the Library

The Friends of the South Milwaukee Library is an integral organization that supports the library through fundraising and advocacy.

Support the Friends and the library by becoming a member of the Friends of the South Milwaukee Library. As a member, you’ll get special member invitations and discounts at book sales and library events. Plus, your support will go towards your local library’s children’s and adult programs and much more. If you’d like to become a Friend, you can print off a membership form, complete it, and return it with your fee to the library.

Members of the Friends have six meetings a year to discuss fundraising, events, volunteer organization, promotion, officer appointment and other agenda items. These meetings are held in the library in the 2nd floor Board Room and start at 5:30pm.

Be sure to check back often for updates as events and membership details are announced. For more information on the Friends or how to get involved, please contact us at friendsofsmkepl@gmail.com. We thank you for your support and look forward to making our local library even better!
