Craft Exchange

Take some supplies, leave some supplies at the library’s craft exchange! All craft supplies, from paints to yarn to scrapbooking paper, are welcome. Bring donations on the day of, or drop them off anytime the library is open between Thursday, September 25th and Thursday, October 2nd. Craft supplies must be in usable and good condition.

Paint a Pumpkin Contest

Come paint a pumpkin while enjoying a warm beverage at the South Milwaukee Library! Pumpkins will be displayed at the library for one week, during which time viewers can vote for their favorite. Whichever pumpkin gets the most votes will be the winner and the pumpkin artist will receive a $20 gift card to Better Together Cafe! Sign up beginning September 16th online or in person.
The Haunted Page: Tricks & Tales for October Eves

Classic horror novelists such as Edgar Allan Poe and Shirley Jackson provide the inspiration for one hour of spine-tingling tales, magic, and macabre humor. Presenter William Pack takes the audience into their own personal Twilight Zone. Participants are sure to leave spooked and amazed! No registration required.

Barreless Barre Beginners

Barreless Barre Beginners is an adult fitness class using chairs, resistance bands, Pilates balls, and weights (optional) to aid in movement that is based in Pilates, yoga, and dance exercises. No registration required.

Bring your own instruments and sheet music. All skill levels, genres, and instruments are welcome! We will meet in the library basement (take the elevator down).
