Library Card Contest

Library Card Contest Winner
Congratulations to Dakotah, winner of our library card design contest! The new cards will be available in a few weeks. Thanks to the great work done by all our local artists, and to everyone who voted.

South Milwaukee Public Library’s library cards are getting a new look and if you are a South Milwaukee resident, aged 5-18, we want YOU to design it! We will be taking design submissions throughout the month of February for both digital and hand-drawn entries. Our staff will narrow it down to ten candidates and a public vote will be held to determine the winner!

The contest is open to South Milwaukee residents, aged 5-18. Artwork submitted must be original and designed to fit the 3 3/8” x 2 1/8” card. One (1) entry per person.

Entry blanks will be available starting February 1, 2021, all entries MUST be received by February 27, 2021. Finalists will be announced in March.

Please include the artist’s name (and name of guardian if under 18), home address, phone number, and age with artwork. The words ‘South Milwaukee Library’ MUST be included in the design. Do NOT include your name within the design.
